Bill Napleton is a 3rd generation auto dealer with over 25 years of experience owning and running dealership operations. He started his career in the automotive industry as a salesman at Fran Napleton Lincoln Mercury in Blue Island in 1983.
Bill continued his career as a salesman at Napleton Cadillac in Park Ridge. During his years there, Bill worked in every department within the dealership and worked his way up to General Manager and purchased ownership interest in the dealership. In 1999 he became Dealer Principal and remained in that position until the dealership was closed in 2008.
In 1993 Bill purchased an ownership interest in Napleton Lincoln Mercury in Park Ridge. Since then, he has continued to acquire dealerships and current holdings including 19 franchises at 7 locations in both Illinois and Indiana.
Bill Napleton is the current owner and principal of Napleton Ford Libertyville, Napleton Park Ridge Lincoln Mitsubishi, Napleton River Oaks Lincoln, Napleton Autowerks Loves Park, Napleton Autowerks Rockford, Napleton Autowerks Bourbonnais, and Napleton Autowerks Schererville. All 7 of his dealerships, which have been family owned and operated for over 80 years, are located throughout the Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana area.

About Bill
Bill is a proud alum of Brother Rice High School and Loyola University of Chicago. He graduated from Loyola with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics. In addition to his automotive activities, he also is the Chair of the Development Committee and Executive Board Member at Fenwick High School and serves as a Board Member at Leaders Bankin Oakbrook, Illinois.
In the past Bill Napleton served as both Board Member and President of the Chicagoland Cadillac Dealer Marketing Group from 1990 through 2007. He was the General Motors Brand Manager of National Council from 1997 until 2000. He has also served as the Cadillac Motor Car National Dealer Council from 1998 until 2006.
Bill Napleton has received several awards in his career, including the Cadillac Master Dealer for 9 consecutive years, the Lincoln Mercury Elite Dealer for 7 consecutive years, the Award of Excellence from Nissan in 2007, and the Mazda Elite Dealer in 2008.
It is also very important for Bill to give back. He supports many charities, includingMisericordia, Catholic Charities, and the Big Shoulders Fund.
